SUGGESTED FABRIC

This pattern is designed to cater to your fabric preferences and can work with a variety of lightweight to medium-weight woven fabrics such as:

- Linen: Ideal for a breathable and comfortable skirt with a relaxed drape.
- Cotton: Provides a classic and versatile option, perfect for everyday wear.
- Silk: Adds a touch of luxury and sheen to your skirt, perfect for special occasions.
- Seasonal Woven Fabrics: Explore seasonal options for a unique and stylish twist.

For a flowy skirt look, we recommend selecting fabrics with more drape, such as chiffon, rayon, or jersey.

To accentuate the pleated details of your skirt, we recommend using more structured woven fabrics, such as cotton twill, denim, or jacquard.

Great flexible pattern

I made the skirt for my mom for her birthday. The top is a mocha pattern and they complement each other really well.
The pattern is easy to follow, the video was really helpful. Thank you for this.

Lovely skirt

Loved making this! My finished skirt is so pretty. I used the paperless pattern (just the measurements). There were a couple things I got confused about while making the skirt but that was most likely due to my own inexperience and not the pattern/video tutorial. I figured it all out in the end. I plan on making another!

Waste of money

After spending the money on this pattern, and over $85 on fabric, I am unable to make this skirt. The pattern claims it can be made with 42" fabric, but then requires a fold that is not achievable with that fabric size. The pattern is very confusing, and does not match the inch measurements on the written instructions. If you are making an XL skirt, 4 yards is somehow not enough fabric to make this pattern. There is a YouTube video on the construction of the skirt which is great, but if you could make a video on the fabric cutting and measurement to try and make this more clear that would be very helpful.

Great pattern!

I basically only used the pattern for the measurements and used the video as instructions, and it was wonderful to follow and came together beautifully! I made one long version like in the video, and one mini skirt version. :D
