Care Instructions:
- Pre-wash for Shrinkage: Heavy denim shrinks 3% to 5%. Pre-wash the fabric if your finished project will be washed in the future.
- Wash Separately & Cold: Indigo dye bleeds heavily. Wash the yardage alone on a gentle, cold cycle.
- Prevent White Streaks: Serge or zigzag the cut edges together with the right sides facing inside before washing. This prevents ugly friction marks from the washing machine drum.
- Air Dry Only: Avoid the dryer. Shake out the wet fabric, smooth out wrinkles, and hang to air dry in the shade.
- Iron While Damp: Iron on the wrong side with high steam while the fabric is still slightly damp to remove stubborn wrinkles.
- Storage Tip: Store the fabric rolled rather than folded to prevent permanent crease lines.
