SUGGESTED FABRIC

This pattern is designed to cater to your fabric preferences and can work with a variety of lightweight to medium-weight woven fabrics such as:

- Linen: Ideal for a breathable and comfortable skirt with a relaxed drape.
- Cotton: Provides a classic and versatile option, perfect for everyday wear.
- Silk: Adds a touch of luxury and sheen to your skirt, perfect for special occasions.
- Seasonal Woven Fabrics: Explore seasonal options for a unique and stylish twist.

For a flowy skirt look, we recommend selecting fabrics with more drape, such as chiffon, rayon, or jersey.

To accentuate the pleated details of your skirt, we recommend using more structured woven fabrics, such as cotton twill, denim, or jacquard.

Disappointing

The pattern pieces for size 2XL do not fit at all. Even if the skirt pieces are pleated all the way around the waist band is too small. I used the correct printer settings. It was a very, very tedious task to make it fit together. What I also missed in the instructions (as well as the youtube instructions) were the explanations on how to use different colours for the strings etc.

I love this pattern! A very quick sew and it turned out beautifully! I used a cotton/linen blend twill and it looks great with the pleats. Will definitely be making another one to see how different fabrics look. I didn't print anything out for the pattern, I just used the provided cutting measurements and everything lined up as designed.

Didn’t meet up with my expectations

I loved the shots of the skirt, that’s why I bought the pattern. The patten is only in US-metrics, a bit hard for me as a European. And I’m not a experienced sewer. I found the skirt hard to make and the instructions and possible alterations, were superficial. It had to many pleats for the fabric I had (linen), and it made me fat, so I wanted less pleats but I didnt’ know where to start.
