Choosing the right fabric is the key to transforming the overall look and vibe of the Barrel Skirt. Depending on your style preference, you can divide your fabric choices into two distinct categories:

1. Crisp and Structured

If you want to maximize the architectural design of this skirt, choose fabrics with some rigidity. These fabrics will hold their shape instead of collapsing, fully emphasizing the unique “barrel” silhouette and making the 8-panel seam lines stand out beautifully.

Cotton Canvas or Twill (Light to Mid-weight)
Mid-weight Linen
Quilted Cotton or Jacquard

2. Soft and Flowy

PREPARATION

Pre-wash and dry all your fabrics as this will prevent your garment from shrinking. We recommend you read the instructions thoroughly before sewing.

At Home (A4/Letter) :

To print at home, you will need to print all 9 pages, which includes all the pattern pieces.

For your convenience, layer options for each size are included in the pattern. Please ensure that your printer settings are adjusted to a scale of 100% or set to ‘Actual Size’ for accurate printing.

A0 (Copy Shop) Option / Projector Option

We offer both A0 (Copy Shop) and Projector options. You can find the files in their respective folders. For your convenience, layer options for each size are included in the pattern. 

The A0 pattern file is located in the designated folder and supports copyshop printing with a 1 page layout. For your convenience, it includes layer options for each size.
